-Okay, so seeking out the best in others.
Meaning, you're pretty much optimistic. About people (:
 
Like, no matter how rude, mean, or blah blah, anything negative someone can be, you look for the best in them.
Not nessacerily physically, no. But maybe something like, they're really outgoing and caring.
 
Kind of like pros and cons.
Like,
yeah, this girl has backstabbed me.
But when I need her, she's there. Always.
 
So you can dislike someone for who they are, but when it omes down to it, there is something you like about them.
 
So something negative about someone, you could flip it around and make it postive.
Like, she can be rude, but atleast she's honest.
 
You know? Instead of hating, just flip it around! :)

...And I wanted our first real set, to be something kinda serious. ♥
 
Ok, so how many of you all have heard people talking about someone. Obviously it's not to nice, if you overhear them saying, "She's so fake."
 
Okay, now I'm just gonna discuss wht the actual meaning of this is, how it hurts people, and why you shouldn't be saying this.
 
-Okay. So normally, when people us ethe term "being fake", they mean something along the lines of a wanna-be. Or trying to hard to be someone/something you're not. Which is somewhat true.
Calling someone a fake means they act or dress a certain way just because they want to give a certain impression on certain people.
There are honestly alot more fakes than you think. Let me give you a few examples;
 
Let's say the most popular kids at your school listen to only rap and only wear Abercrombie. Ofcourse they're popular, so they pretty much start their own trends, because other kids want to be popular too. So ofcourse, all the girls who want to be popular, will go out and buy alot of Abercrombie, and download rap on iTunes.
They may grow to like what they're doing eventually, but they're not staying true to who they are. Basciaclly they're not following their own decisions, styles, etc...
 
But who are you to judge? You never know, they could be having a big personality change, they might have been fake all along and decided to chage now, they could just actually really like the stuff! You don't know the person or what they're thinking.
Stereotyping also kinda plays a role in this. Let's say coach purses are really popular with the students and people. And what people lable "the goth girl" decides to buy one. Everyone talks now about how "fake" she is, and how she's trying to be cool. When in reality, she just wanted to buy a purse! Just because someone decides to try something new, or finds something they think is really cute, does NOTTT mean they are fake. That is not your decision to make, or your call on judgement.
 
-This does hurt people. It may not sound as bad as calling someone fat or ugly... But it still does hurt people. It's the same as name calling bascically. Calling someone fake when they're just being themselves, can also puts peer-pressure on them to be fake. To be something or someone they're not. And do you really wanna do that? Deprive someone of who they are.? Change someone when they were prefectly happy?! It's not your call and none of your business.
